June profile 2 My name is June Shigeno, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in Pasadena, CA.  I have been working in the field for over 25 years and have had the privilege to work with individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds.

I was born and raised in Japan by a Japanese father and an American mother. I identify as mixed race ("Hapa"). I went through the Japanese school system from elementary school through undergraduate studies.  In my early 20s, I moved to the US for graduate school to study marriage and family therapy.
